So nice to be welcomed on a rainy day with tea and biscuits near the fireplace. The Victorian atmosphere is wonderful, furnitures, paintings and small objects seem to be exactly where they should be. Comfortable room with gorgeous view on Loch Fyne and Inveraray. Great breakfast.

We can only provide a maximum star rating for this property. Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming. greeting us with a choice of tea or coffee, assisting with our bags and more; the guests lounge ran the depth of the house and was beautifully decorated and furnished, as was our room. We were provide with an extensive list of choices for breakfast and it was made all to apparent that our choices were not limited; Car parking was well laid out for guests.
unfortunately , but understandably there is no provision for an evening meal; The nearest hostelry is 4 miles away and although we understand it has a good reputation, when we viewed the menu, there were reasons for not chosing this option; not least the overall cost and the travel time.
Having eaten well at lunch time ,hunger was not an issue;

Beautifully appointed manor house in a lovely setting. Avril and Sue were absolutely charming hosts. Great breakfast. Peaceful setting.

This is literally the best guest house one can imagine. Its location is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous, and the breakfast is amazing. Beyond that, Sue and Avril are most welcoming and one basically feels like being at home. Thank you, we will be back!
