We really enjoyed our stay at Mansewood Country House. It's lovely to stay somewhere where you get to meet and interact with the owners. We chose to eat in and we can recommend that you do too. James is a great cook; both dinner and breakfast were fab. Our beds were comfy. We took a packed lunch with us and that was good too. The woods behind the house are worth checking out especially if the bluebells are in flower.
The table napkins would have looked nicer if they'd been ironed - but that is all!

Mansewood Country House was terrific through and through. After a long day of travel the dinner prepared for us was terrific. James and Emily are a delight and went above and beyond with some unexpected assistance in light of the airline losing our luggage. We are so grateful for their kindness. The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable and clean. We look forward to returning to Mansewood!

This was a magnificent place to stay whilst walking the Rob Roy Way. James and Emma and family were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. I had a wonderful 3 course dinner cooked by James and a wonderful breakfast the next day. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
