Having worked as cabin crew for many years and stayed in hotels all around the world the Staff at the Avonbridge hotel are in a class of there own ! Helpful, caring and sincere. A rare combination. Thank you and i will be back soon. Jayne Hardisty

The Avonbridge Hotel provides inexpensive accommodation and a good standard of breakfast. The decor in some of the bedrooms is a little tired and the walls are lacking in soundproofing so that you hear TV and conversations from adjacent bedrooms.
Very impressed by the welcome and responsiveness of the reception staff (notably Hana)

Stayed here for one night but wouldnt be in a rush to return. We were in a seperate building off the main hotel which had a key for the front door and a key for the room door. We parked in the main car park originally but then moved the car to the overflow car park as this was closer for unloading bags etc. Room was tidy however it did have a few cobwebs and spiders. Bathroom had a couple of dead flies but nothing awful. The sink and shower weren't great. The sink would fill up with water any time the tap was on, for some reason the water didn't drain away as quickly as you would expect. Shower pressure wasn't great either. Curtains weren't blackout so unfortunately the room was very bright first thing in the morning. Would have been much better if the curtains kept the light out. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, but there were definitely improvements to be made which would have made the stay much more enjoyable. Restaurant was lovely, as was the food. Decently priced too. The adjoining bar was also lovely and the staff were really nice.
