We had a lovely stay at the Abbey Hotel. Nice, clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff were also very nice.

We stayed at Abbey Hotel Roscommon for two nights over the long bank holiday weekend, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with impressive architecture and a dining area that really stands out in terms of ambience and design. The staff were welcoming and professional throughout our stay, which made a big difference.
Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and clearly thought-out vegetarian options, which we appreciated. We also made use of the leisure facilities and enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, all of which were well maintained and relaxing.
One small and slightly unusual point worth mentioning: on both nights, around 3am, we heard a knocking sound that lasted for a few minutes. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or something specific to our room, but it did catch our attention.
That aside, it is a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend Abbey Hotel Roscommon for a comfortable and relaxing break.
