    Interesting quirky place to stay. Good breakfast . A jug and coffees /sugar and fridge my room would have been good. Also I didn’t know the history of the hotel, so a small information sheet with things to see in Alberobello and a small map on that sheet would have been helpful.

    Unfortunately I hadn’t double checked whether this hotel had AC, it did not. This meant the room, due to being a ex-monastery, only had a fan which was definitely not enough for our stay in June. Therefore, if I was to come back in one of the hotter months, I would definitely not stay here. If it was in a cooler month, I would stay again. We also weren’t told that there was a festival on that week. With windows open for ventilation, it meant it was hard to sleep with all the noise & heat. The room itself was very basic, clean and enough for just a couple of nights. The breakfast served was a very basic breakfast but for what we paid, it was sufficient. The location is great within a 100 metres of the trulli houses. Make sure to wear decent walking shoes, cobbled streets, inclines make it slippery even with Birkenstock’s.
