Hotel Eden

Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr gut, kostet allerdings 15€ pro Person. Dafür bekommt man aber Sauna, einen warmen Pool mit Sprudler, Massagedüsen im Pool und aus der Wand, ruheliegen und Umkleideraum. Die Rezeption spricht gut deutsch. Parkplätze gegenüber im öffentlichen Bereich (gebührenpflichtig) oder vom Hotel (7€ pro Tag). Das Hotel ist allgemein in der Zeit stehengeblieben und sollte an manchen Stellen modernisiert werden. Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein Premiumzimmer bekommen (2 Doppelbetten)

Es gab nur dünne Leintücher zum Zudecken. Diese sind bei Nachtemperaturen von 10-12°C nicht in Ordnung. Die Zusatzdecken aus dem Schrank sind alt und muffig und ich wollte diese nicht verwenden. Auf einem Zimmer fehlten die Waschutensilien (Duschgel, Seife, Lotion).

La struttura è molto bella, pulitissima e accogliente. La colazione è ottima. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.

Cosy, nice interior, close to the central street. The staff were generally friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

Some of my most important expectations were not met, because the information on their Booking.com page is inaccurate. There was no free parking provided by the hotel, contrary to what their Booking.com page says. I was lucky to get a free spot at a pizzeria’s parking nearby for the first days, but then it was taken by the pizzeria visitors and I had to park in the blue zone on the street. So free parking for visitors is NOT guaranteed. The webpage also says there’s a spa, but it is only accessible for a rather large fee - something between 50 and 80 euros if I remember correctly. The staff told me it is a financial necessity because of COVID, which is understandable and sad, but it should be mentioned on the website. Another unmet expectation. Most of the staff did not speak English or German, so it was hard to communicate. I wanted to ask them for some travelling tips in the area, but then I just decided to figure it out on my own. The “do not disturb” sign on my room door was ignored. A noisy beeping truck came to pick up rubbish bins right outside my window early in the morning so I could not sleep in. Overall, I hoped for a nice solo vacation, but there were too many little things that were disappointing and made my stay a lot less pleasurable.
