The place, the activities and the staff was so nice

Location was optimal, very close to the train station for quick access to Venice. The hotel was clean, it's great they offer meals (breakfast & dinner some nights) as well as nightly activities in the common area, even laundry. Note: I didn't personally take advantage of them, but it was great to have the option.

The rooms were great, the only caveat is the (lack of) air conditioning. We kept the window closed, as the window was labeled "window open = air con off". The room did not cool down, there was zero indication the air conditioning was on. All the people in my room commented on the heat, we were sweating through the night. None of us are convinced the air con works at all, even if the window had been closed for quite a while. This was frustrating, and made it difficult to sleep, especially as air conditioning was included as a listed as a facility for the bedrooms.

It was an amazing hostel experience.

The hotel has a really cool concept and atmosphere. There are several areas to relax, work, or socialize, which makes the space feel very dynamic and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the location is very convenient right next to the station, and having security at the entrance added an extra sense of safety. The vibe is youthful, respectful, and still fun at the same time.

The light and charging outlet at my bed were not working, which was quite inconvenient. The sink design also looks stylish but is not very practical, since the inclination makes it difficult to place your personal items without them sliding off. Another issue is the shower area, which doesn’t provide enough space to change comfortably, so you basically have to walk out semi dressed in front of others. Finally, the beds without curtains offer very little privacy, something that would make a huge difference in a shared accommodation environment.
