About this villa rental
This wonderful property sits in the hills facing south. It offers you glorious views towards St. Cezaire as well as the Mediterranean. In the summer, there is always a lovely breeze which makes the house very comfortable on hot days. Cannes is 30 min. Nice 40 min. drive.
There is so much to do in the area- including visiting many lovely French villages (Cabris, Peymeinade, Speracedes, Grasse). The drive to Montauraux is breathtaking. Lac de St Cassien is not too far and Gorge de Verdon is also a good day trip. It is a paradise for walkers as well as bicyclists.
The house is spacious and ideal for 2 or 3 families sharing. (for example one family downstairs, 1 family in the left wing upstairs and one in the rightwing upstairs).
On the ground floor you find a living room with fireplace, dining room, in between these two rooms is a kitchen with a lovely view over the hills and sea. Two bedrooms and a bathroom and 2 WCs.. There is also a summer living area with comfortable sofas and chairs. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms and 2 shower/wc rooms. The pool has sun all day and also enjoys stunning views. The house is surrounded by 5000 sq meters of gardens filled with olive trees. There is also a play area for kids with its own little garden house.
While groups of young people are very welcome, please note I have strict rules about parties and noise in the evening after midnight and will take a larger deposit.

Spacious, superbly equipped and comfortable property with breathtaking views and lovely pool area. So quiet. Ideal for five couples and three teens. Very good comms and warm welcome/check out from local Hélène. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend.

Très grande maison assez ancienne, isolée, avec magnifique vue 180 degrés . Belle piscine très propre. 5 chambres à l'étage, 2 chambres au rdc dont une très petite avec lits superposés. Les baignades en rivière sont à 30mn, les supermarches à 15/20mn. Je recommande cette maison pour une famille nombreuse.

Nous sommes venus passer les fêtes de fin d’années entre amis. La villa était superbe, toute équipée, avec une vue imprenable depuis toutes ses pièces ! Très agréable à vivre, très chaleureuse. Non loin (10-15 min de voiture) nous avons pu effectuer une balade au bord d’une cascade avec des sources d’eaux chaudes, c’était super. Le voisinage est très sympathique. Franky qui est le gardien de la maison et qui habite non loin, est très gentil et discret. La femme de ménage Isabelle qui nous a accueilli a été très sympa également ! Franchement nous recommandons fortement cette maison, vous y créerez de très bons souvenirs !

Its always a worry when you book somewhere that it isnt going to match up with your expectations, but not Villa Meava, it exceeded our expectations. The views really were spectacular from the pool area, the terrace, the kitchen, living room, dining room and especially the main bedroom, although most of the bedrooms as well, there were only a couple of bedrooms at the back that didnt have the view. There were 13 of us and the house swallowed us up, there was plenty of room, the kitchen was easy to navigate, the BBQ area was right by the outdoor eating area, it felt like a home from home. All rooms had bookcases full of interesting reads. It was very hot when we stayed and there is no air con but there were fans in the bedroom to cool you down at night. We just could have done with more shade by the pool! St. Cezaire was a lovely characterful village with a couple of good places to eat, a well stocked supermarket and an amazing boulangerie! You do need cars though, the village is not a stroll away!!! There is plenty to do in the area, we went down into the gorge and swam in the river, it was worth the slog! We visited Lac St. Cassien for fun on inflatables, caught the train from Cannes to Monaco, visited beaches in Antigues, strolled around Grasse, tried via ferrata further in land, drove route napolean and there was still lots more to do but unfortunately we only had the week. From the very first enquiry to the end Eveline helped us along the way with all our questions and it was lovely meeting Peter, her son, who kindly showed us around the place when we arrived. We would all love to return sometime and wouldnt hesitate recommending the place.
