Everything was just perfect: we had a very warm welcome from our host Ivana and she looked after us very well throughout our stay. The apartment was lovely, spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor space, with the barbecue area and the pool area surrounded in olive trees, was superb. The breakfast was delicious, with eggs from the hosts' own hens as well as fruits from their garden. Sunny House is a perfect base from which to explore the East of Korcula island, with a lovely walk / very short bus ride into Korcula Old Town, and a short bus ride to Lumbarda. Supermarket and cafes are 5 mins walk away. We feel absolutely relaxed and refreshed following our stay, and would give the place 20/10 if we could!

We absolutely loved the location. Was a great central location to all the other smaller towns and also to the old Korcula town was approximately a 10 minute walk. The pool was amazing very clean and maintained. Apartment was very clean. We were there as a large family which was three adults and two children. Hosts were very friendly and accommodated an early check-in as we had small children. We will be recommending to all our family and friends in Australia.
There was nothing that we didn’t like everything was perfect.

Sunny House was comfortable and spacious. The weather was not kind so we couldn’t enjoy the pool and terrace but with better weather, they would have been great.
Marko and Ivana were excellent hosts, providing a delicious breakfast, a transfer from and to the property and went above and beyond to help us when our catamaran back to Dubrovnik was cancelled due to poor weather.
Given the weather, it was hard to dry laundry - so the washing machine was of limited use.
The property is about 25 minutes walk from the Old Town and 10+ minutes to the nearest beach - we knew this when booking and wasn’t a problem but good to be aware

The swimming pool area and the outside oven area. Those were fantastic. Also, the apartment was big enough to accommodate a family of 5. The location was also good especially the cafe 100 meters up the road where we had coffee each morning with locals. It was also close to a small market where we could get fresh bread in the morning.
The host would do well to invest in repairs to the inside of the apartment. Both showers leaked so bad the floors were full of water after one shower. My husband ended up dredging all the hair out of the drain in one bathroom. One of the air conditioning units did not work, which in summer time is just not doable. Also, there were very few knives and forks, a situation that we've never come across before. There were coffee cups but no water glasses. Small things like this are the difference between a five stars and 2 or 3.
