Corner windows overlooking the water. Excellent bed and spacious bath. Kind wait staff when we came for a late dinner, just arrived off the ferry.
Breakfast was expensive, so we ate elsewhere.

A great hotel building, eye-catching, well designed and enjoyably functional; in an iconic position. Good restaurant, well-stocked ‘caves’ and friendly, helpful staff. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
The sitting arrangemts in the room, apart from the bed, were one up-right chair and a stool. Not ideal for reading and relaxing.

I find this hotel highly overpriced, The room has nothing special and was small, the AC keeps on turning off and it is normal for the hotel but requires the guest to call reception to turn back on, not even a bottle of water provided for almost 200 EUR a night in Cherbourg...
