It was like staying in an art gallery with curated paintings and beautiful decorations. Erik was so helpful with checking in and helped us with our luggage when we left. The location fronts a canal and is 5 minutes away from the historic center of town. His recommendation to go to Yuzu, the chocolatier was great and we enjoyed the food at the 2 restaurants on the same block. He was full of interesting information about Ghent and is an historian.

The location is wonderful and the property feels very luxurious! Erik is a prompt, friendly host. Everything you could possibly need is a short walk away.
The mattress could be more comfortable but it was fine.

We had an amazing experience in Ghent, and this accommodation was a big part of it. The location is unbeatable, right in the center, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. Erik was an outstanding host — always helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind. He made everything easy for us, from clear instructions to being flexible with our schedule, which we really appreciated. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we truly felt welcome during our stay. If we come back to Ghent (which we definitely want to), we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Quirky and a good location
For the price and considering it is advertised as a honeymoon suite , it was a let down . If I had booked it for my honeymoon I would now be single
