Piscina bellissima, silenzio e relax assicurati, cucina ottima, staff super gentile, stanza ampia e fresca.

We were welcomed by a very friendly staff. We decided to have breakfast and dinner at the premises. The dishes we were served were very tasteful more to say excellent and typical Italian. We were asked wat we would like to eat the next evening. The red wine (chianti) served was great too. The swimming pool was large and very pleasant to spend time.
Virna and her family did everything to make our stay special. After several days of stay we left very relaxed.
The road to the agriturismo (last 2 kilometers) was very bumpy. Slow driving is recommended.

The fact that there was no credit card facility after it was advertised on booking.com and we had no cash on us so therefore had to find transport to a town 5km away for an ATM which cost us €35 each way due to taxis not available in that area. The language barrier made it extremely difficult. Hotel did not offer to drive the short distance and it was too mountainous to walk, to the ATM and we feel that it shouldn’t have been up to us to find the money if it was their fault to begin with. Due to these problems we decided to pay then hire the driver to take us back to Florence because it was a difficult situation because we could not speak Italian which is another issue with Booking.com when they say “we speak your language “ , they don’t.
If you travel here make sure you have lots and lots of €€€€€€ the food is extremely expensive and definitely have your own transport and preferably speak Italian as English is basically non existent. It was neither their fault nor ours but the situation was extremely uncomfortable. We stayed 1 night out of our 3 night booking and had a very restless night. We were not sure if it was a legitimate internet problem or they just wanted the cash. It was hard to tell.
In our haste to get back to the city I left a $200 dress and a jacket behind. A big rush to get out.
