Clean, comfortable with cosey communal areas

The room was lovely, the whole place is really cosy and welcoming and the location is fantastic, right on the lake, overlooking it. The breakfast was delicious and was arranged for you at the time you request it, which is a really nice touch. Parking right out front and the bedrooms were very cosy and lovely to sleep in following a tough day of hiking.

I have nothing to write here, I honestly really enjoyed the stay.

Hosts were friendly. We found the bed comfortable.

Hotel is actually a bed and breakfast as many reviews have pointed out - I wish I'd read them before booking. We were not able to control the room's heating which was a huge disadvantage after coming down off the mountain cold and wet. This meant we couldn't dry any of our clothes properly and were still damp the next day. As others have said, going downstairs to get hot drinks was unusual. I prefer a bath, my partner doesn't mind a shower, but that was a disappointment for me. We were really looking forward to the breakfast but it was meh. Not bad, just meh. Oh, and the hotel is on a main road, behind trees, and doesn't really have a proper view of the lake.
