Stuck in a time warp. As others have mentioned in their review the host tries her best but nobody is really willing to tell the full story. It is cheap and cheerful to a point, it is a family home converted to a B&B, although it has its shortcomings, lots of small things that change the feeling you get when you travel. The hallway to get to all the rooms is dark & feels cold/unwelcoming. The painting on the wall was of a lady laying down that looked like she did a poo in her dress, it was hideous The on site parking is not onsite, it is around the corner, up an alleyway that is narrow for anything larger than small vehicle. Not all rooms have balconies and they list the accommodation generically so you can't choose, to get to mine I had to walk through the hallway, a sitting room & then use my balcony which had birds building their nest. The breakfast is better summed up as 'what can you serve from a packet' as there is no fresh anything other than sweets. No fresh fruit (just from a tin), no fresh bread (just the type in packets), no meats or cheeses, nothing cooked available not even basic eggs. Just coffee from a pod machine, cheap cereals or fresh cakes/sweets. The host stands there while you eat and you can't use the kitchen for other meals even though it is pictured in the listing it is only available for breakfast. There was no offer of changing towels or room clean (not that I wanted but its a service thing) To top it all off the WiFi was like dial up so nearly impossible to use even struggled with eMail, when raised the issue they had no clue and were slow to respond.
