The hotel is a little bit down at heel but it is clean, comfortable and friendly. It's more like staying in someone's house. There is a little bit of parking at the front, the staff are chilled out and it is in an amazing area.
For what it is, I liked all of it.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They also upgraded my room from a single to a double at no extra charge. Bed was comfy and bedding was spotlessly clean. Check in was available from 11am which was very handy.
The decor was tired looking and could do with refreshing. There was a big step up to get into the shower.

It was cost effective for a one night stay with 6 of us.
It is very basic, extension leads everywhere. Only two parking spaces
Previously smoking was allowed in the B&B

Location was excellent - close to summer town.
Our bed was comfortable.
I love older buildings but this was run down and tired. The bathroom sink was small with a small glass shelf directly above so you couldn’t put your head under to wash your face. Shower temperature fluctuated making it uncomfortable. No shelves in bathroom so all toiletries had to go on the floor. Shower fan was full of dust.
