Very comfortable beds and a nice shower, my mum really liked the soap provided.
Furniture a little dated in the room. Would have liked a variation on the tea available in the room. I don't drink tea or coffee so peppermint or chamomile or something would have been nice to have as an option.

Escorted to avoid stairs by very helpful staff
Excellent central location and helpful directions from staff
Lack of handrail on two or three steps along corridors
Room still had remains of a room service tray from previous occupant in situ
Thresholds between room/ corridor/ lift/ double doors not flush and potential trip hazards, witnessed another guest tripped and I stumbled
Swimming pool was cold, apparently heating was being attended to

The room was very nice and the breakfast was good
Had asked for step free access to room and shower but found steps to get into the hotel, steps in the corridor leading to the room and a shower over the bath.
