Lovely old character hotel in centre of Peterborough. Great bar, great food and many TV screens for watching sports!

Lovely hotel and great value for money. Bar staff though need to be trained a bit better, asked for in Irish coffee and was given normal coffee in a cup with a Baileys poured on top ?? And not good at trying to gauge who they think is next to be served when busy as approached anyone. Yet overall a lovely comfortable hotel .

Booked late in the day through agoda . About 45 minutes later I had to wait around 30 minutes with so many questions before I was allowed to my twin room though I booked a double bed one. Busy check in with so many people queuing with only one staff.
Breakfast was average with frozen fruit salad. Room after all was good bar slowly draining shower drain. Ok place if you’re desperate for its excellent central location.

Central location though difficult to drive to because of its location. Clean hotel with friendly staff but old classic with noisy bathroom fan and old windows. For the money there are good competitors out there worth considering.
