We were recommended to check out Lake Constance. However, winter is definitely their off-season. While I can see the reason people recommend staying in Meersburg due to its convenient location between the other cities in the Lake Constance area, there was nothing going on in town during our visit. Most stores and restaurants were closed. I imagine this would look very different in the summer. For the winter, I would recommend staying in Konstanz or Uberlingen, which are much more active and have more activities. The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good with a nice variety of options.
