Hôtel De La Plage

Hotel Location is fabulous, directly at lakeside and directly by two green parks! Very quiet and absolutely traffic-free. Very good option for family with kids and small children!

Super kind staff at the hotel. Very helpful and warm! The room was very clean, the view was awesome and the location is great!

The man on the desk was very good, lovely hotel, fantastic location, restaurant superb ( but not cheap..). Really enjoyed it and would go there again.

Difficult to be critical, but some of the woodwork needed varnishing, maybe some carpets replacing, but you can say the same about lots of hotels.

The hotel is right at the waters edge at the end of a cul de sac, very peaceful, quiet location. We had a lake view from our bedroom which was lovely. Whilst the hotel is tired and dated, our room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. There was free private off street parking.

On the second morning, we discovered that there was no hot water - not even cold water out the hot tap, just no water! Anyway, as it turned out, it was a problem for the whole place. Plan B for getting washed; boil the kettle (thank god we had one in the room) and add it to cold water in the sink for an old fashioned strip wash. Great until we discovered that the plug was not water tight so it was a race to get washed before the water drained away. Entertaining but not ideal!
