Very attractive, w/on-site parking. Good bathroom facilities; good size room; HDMI for casting fire stick to TV
Due to road works v hard to access by car. Hotel shd send guests the small map they gave us when we were lost, in advance of arrival.
No seating in the bedroom and wasted space that cd have easily accommodated a couple of chairs.

This is a really lovely hotel, the only mystery being why there were so few guests staying there. There were not that many staff around either and it was all a bit Marie Celeste! Good to be able to park in the small on-site car park though. The decor in the public spaces of the hotel is stunning. Our room was very comfortable, good sized bathroom with a great shower. Despite apparent lack of staff those we encountered were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was also very good

Very grand and impressive common areas. The lobby is stunning. The room (superior) was comfortable enough, even if a little boring.
The reception staff were brusque and not particularly welcoming or helpful. There generally seemed to be a shortage of staff across the whole hotel. It didn’t feel like a very welcoming place.
