Great value stay in Florence, clean and comfortable. The manager, Carlos, was very accomodating and helpful.

The host Carlo was exceptionally welcoming as was his attention to detail. The Burchiello was a little further out than we appreciated but was located in a pleasant, quiet area. The rooms were comfortably appointed and more than large enough to accommodate the 3 of us. The bathroom was well equipped and a nice size. We had a lovely balcony (unfortunately it was raining) that was full of character and had a pleasing view. There were alot of small details included such as guest slippers, toothbrushes, shaving kits, make up remover, body wash, hairdryer that made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. Carlo also offered to let us drop our bags off early allowing us to explore without luggage. The layout of the property ensured we had a quiet and private overnight stay. We had access to a full shared kitchen which would have been very useful for a longer stay. Carlo furnished us with a map of Florence and marked on where the local "mini" bus C4 route ran which would have been handy to catch from the station to Burchiello for bag drop. Along with local delicacies, patisserie and places of interest. Carlo was excellent at communicating, guiding and supporting to help us make the best of our stay, he was keen to make himself available for any and all enquiries. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented in the comfortable kitchen with both croissant and cereal options and Carlo present, pouring tea and coffee and offering large jugs of fruit juice. It is very much a family run venture, it feels like staying in a home rather than a faceless hotel and we were delighted that we chose Burchiello B&B for our Florence stay. Carlo's English is way better than my Italian and he was a joy to chat to.
