This is our second trip and stay in the Argyll arms. A charming hotel that has a warm welcome and just feels good to stay in . Staff are excellent and accommodating . A real Argyll gem.

On a motorcycle tour and needed a stop over in cambletown.The argyll arms was a suitable stop for us with private parking

We had a fantastic weekend. Staff really Friendly and couldn’t enough. Central location meant you were close to everything. Highly recommend you stay here if looking for accommodation in Campbeltown.

Seen better days, room furniture a miss match . No lifts so if you are a senior citizen be prepared to be exhausted getting your belongings up steep stairs. Also awkward fire door that prevents you holding on to a rail whilst opening, especially if you are carrying something. Room, bedding and towels clean and room albeit old fashioned is comfortable. All staff encountered were cheery, polite and helpful. Be aware if you have a room at the back of hotel. There is a square / car park which has pubs that go on blaring music until well ater midnight and all the locals seem to congregate there shouting and swearing. Windows and soundproofing not adequate enough to drown out all the offensive effing and blinding .Breakfast was good.
