2 night stay visiting relatives in the city. Good walkable location in centre of the city. Compromise is the noise from traffic and people late night after partying by the harbour. We stayed in the middle of a heatwave and really appreciated the air con and dim lighting. Great bed and bathroom and excellent breakfast . Evening meal not so good. Prix fixe menu between 5 and 7 but when we requested this at 6.30 the waiter reluctantly took our order for all three courses at once.. Starter and mains were averagely good. 90 mins later our dessert still had not arrived (in a quiet service), and we ended up having to leave without it. Requested a glass of Pinot and it was not served from the bottle, arrived with cork floating on the surface and tasted off. We were probably unlucky. The temp in the kitchen must have been unbearable. We have still booked to go back again.

Staff not overly helpful.. rather generic! Pillows were pathetic and the pillow cases smelled.. probably hadn't been changed in a while! Excellent shower. Would have expected better quality of this ilk
