Wir hatten Zimmer 19. Ein sehr schön großes Zimmer, wunderbar für Übernachtungen mit einem großen Hund geeignet. Das Bett ist groß und hat eine komfortable Matratze zum wohligen Schlafen. Großes geräumiges Bad. Wunderbar! Der Zimmerservice ist topp - auch am Wochenende wurde durchgehend perfekt gereinigt. Das ist leider nicht mehr überall selbstverständlich. Es waren kalte Tage, die Heizung hat, trotz des historischen Hauses, sehr gut gewärmt. Das Restaurant ist ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen: Sehr leckere und liebevoll angerichtete Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Das Restaurantpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Was gibt es noch zu schreiben? Ach ja: Wenn wir wieder auf die Rassehundeausstellung im Januar nach Kassel kommen dann unbedingt für die Messereisenächte "Papen Änne"!

It was very clean and well kept despite being an old building. Breakfast was great. Price was good and the staff were kid-friendly.
The room was very cold and the bathroom had no heating. (We stayed in der "Guesthouse" across the street.) Dishes could have been cleaner. It could have been better communicated that if the restaurant is full there are no parking spaces.

The food at the restaurant
I chose this hotel after reading the positive reviews, but unfortunately I was surprised in negative. The rooms are located in the building opposite the hotel, across the street, but this is not the problem. The problem is that I paid 109 € for a room with old furniture, very very cold and with a very old bathroom. I also tried the restaurant, nothing to say, good food, but I was surprised that the waiter, when paying the bill, told me that under € 20 they do not accept credit card payments. Finally, a poorly breakfast. Maybe I have been unlucky !!!!
