Celebrate your vacation in one of the most beautiful spots of Karpathos!
Who would not want to spend holidays in a place that seems to be made for the gods themselves?
In this place, on the Acropolis hill, directly adjacent to the (main) Pigadia town is a very complete,
super cozy and fully detached house. The house is furnished with great care and has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the views and tranquility.
The view is truly phenomenal! On the one hand Pigadia, the port and the main beach, on the other hand, the untouched nature with hills and wooded area of Karpathos!
A few minutes walk are several small bays with beautiful beaches, in 5 minutes you it is more in the center of Pigadia and a few minutes large
busier, sandy beach.
You can drive through a dirt path, to come to the house. Quiet ride because often sunning themselves goats on the path!
This path is quite steep and therefore not suitable for people who have difficulty walking.
The clever design allows you to easily enjoy home of 90 m2 with 6 people. The living room is very tastefully and carefully furnished.
The open kitchen is fully equipped (coffee maker, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer). Separate toilet.
1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds. Luxurious bathroom with second toilet. The whole house has air conditioning and heating.
Enjoy all day sun on the beautiful, partially covered terrace of the house.
This house is not only the perfect place to spend your summer vacation. Even in winter is wonderful. Daytime temperatures can be very pleasant.
In the evening you can enjoy in front of the fireplace!

Our second time in Karpathos and in this house. A really nice house with a beautiful view, walking distance to the harbour with lots of restaurants and shops. We really loved our stay here.

We entice our adult children and their friends to Karpathos, away from the party islands of Greece BECAUSE of the fabulous facilities and views at Villa Acropolis.Once here they work out how wonderful Karpathos is - beaches, cuisine and wonderful locals. Karpathos seems to draw a nicer brand of tourist too. We were able to have a wi carful breakfast spread and even had home-cooked* meals a couple of nights- I say cooked but actually we one night I did a full lemon chicken potatoes and simple Greek salad meal but another night we just got souvlaki from Erasmis down the road and I put together a Cretan-Karpathos inspired salad Another blissful trip to Greece with Villa Acropolis the drawcard.

This house is gorgeous! A friend & I stayed for7 nights & couldn't have been happier. Modern appliances, comfortable beds and the view was impeccable. Mike arranged transportation from the airport (45 euros paid directly to the driver) which was a huge help. Mike met us at the property, walked us through & even gave us a little background on his family's house. He was very responsive whenever we had a question & was extremely nice! The house sits atop of a hill that overlooks the Pigadia Harbor. Spectacular view! There is seating that overlooks the town, overlooks the harbor & also faces the mountains. Perfect from every angle!We walked into town every day - only a few minutes, which was convenient. The walk itself is steep so be prepared - I used a walking stick & was fine (63 with a bad knee). And the natural beauty of the land is breathtaking. Goats! There are free roaming goats! Overall, The Acropolis Villa couldn't have been better. I highly recommended.

Suzanne was a wonderful host. The villa was fantastic and the description on the listing was as accurate as can be. Everything was exactly as advertised, The place was immaculate. There were plenty of fresh towels and sheets, even white bathrobes....we all felt like in a classy SPA!!!! Within 2 real minutes radius by car, since the villa is on the top of a hill overlooking Pigadia and the harbor, there are supermarkets, tobacconists, fresh fruit sellers, banks, pharmacies, souvenir shops as well as a myriad of restaurants, tavernas and cafeterias. The interiors and the furniture are simple and comfortable while the outdoor space seems to be custom tailored: two panoramic terraces where, according to sun rotation, one can enjoy shade and sun. For 15 days no-one of us suffered from sweat thanks to a particular wind that almost constantly blows on the island. We never used the air conditioning although the external temperature was 33-34 degrees and we never used mosquito repellent. THERE ARE NO MOSQUITOS!!!! Fantastic.More, an external water hose in the garden assured amusing showers!!! You could not ask for a better host or a better place!! Thanks Suzanne. Id recommend your villa to young and elder people, without or with children, romantic and audacious. Hope to meet you again.Roberta & Luc & Luigi & Renata
