Loved the location, loved the history and the room was excellent for our needs. The girls on reception went above & beyond to make our stay great .

We didn't spend much time in the hotel as we travelled from Cumbria to our son's 40th birthday celebration however accommodation was clean, staff pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was fine. The evening meals that we had were good and reasonably priced. Service was good and the staff efficient.

Room was fine . Breakfast was mean . We were not told how it worked had to pay extra for a very small coffee as buffet part was hidden and staff did not show us where it was. Not a place I would use again.
Breakfast was mean. Staff did not show where drinks etc where . Poor service bill on table before we finished and before clearing plates. Did not see any customer care at any time. I hate paying extra for a latte t breakfast and this one was tiny
