You'll find a boat, bicycles, and more on site at this family-friendly vacation home. With the property's convenient onsite parking, you'll be ready to make the quick 4-minute drive to Plage de la Romaniquette or the 6-minute drive to Saint Blaise Archaeolgical Site.
Spend some time at the nearby beach (enjoy the sun loungers!), relax by the communal pool, or sip a drink in the garden of this 1292-sq-ft vacation home, which also features a deck or patio. For a change of scenery, come inside and try your hand at foosball and table tennis, or enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.
As you settle into this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a dining area, and a BBQ grill. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. And thanks to the washer and dryer, you'll even be able to travel light.

A spacious villa and extensive grounds . It had everything our family needed for a week of relaxation. We hardly strayed from the property

Die Ferienwohnung ist erfreulich geräumig und mit Geschmack und Stil eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr gut und funktional ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich ist wahnsinnig schön angelegt. Tische, Stühle und Liegen sind bequem und stabil. Der Pool ist riesig und in Schuss. Der Außengrill funktioniert (Holzkohle), mehrere Supermärkte in nächster Nähe führen alles, was das Urlauberherz begehrt.
Die Vermieter wohnen über der Ferienwohnung, sind diskret und extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Sandstrände von Istres, direkt am Etang, sind sehr schön und eignen sich auch für kleine Kinder. Am Meer findet man nette Buchten (ziemlich frequentiert) oder am Plage Napoleon einen Autostrand (erfreulich wenig frequentiert). Beeindruckend sind die Raffinerien am Meer.
Unser Tipp: Fischrestaurant Le Mistral Gagnant in Vos-sur-Mer. Schöne Terrasse direkt am Strand, im Hinterland liegt die Altstadt von Vos und vorne am Meer erstreckt sich die Raffinerie. Vor der Küste liegen die Öltanker in Reihe, abends leuchten die Fackeln auf den Schornsteinen. Echt mal was anderes. Auch zu empfehlen: Das Resto Les Terrasses in Martiques idyllischem Ambiente. Sehr gute französische Küche, aber weniger fischlastig, daher eher familientauglich (es gibt auch leckere Burger). Der kleine Ort, auch als Klein Venedig bezeichnet, wartet mit diversen malerischen Ecken auf und ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert.
Fazit: Der Urlaub war toll, die Ferienwohnung bekommt die volle Punktzahl. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

The house is beautiful, and the kids loved playing in the fantastic pool- the property is even better than it looks in the photos!
Around a 30 minute walk to the town centre bars and restaurants for us with young children. Lovely beaches a short drive away.
Overall, a wonderful fortnight spent in lovely surroundings, with really friendly and helpful hosts.

La maison et spécialement le jardin sont magnifiques! Il y a du parking privé et s‘il y a des question on peut demander les propriétaires qui habitent dans l‘appartement au-dessus (ils sont très sympa et serviable). On recommand la plage Sainte Croix (c‘est 30 min avec la voiture) ou la plage de la romaniquette (5 min avec la voiture).
On a passé une semaine inoubliable chez Daniel et sa femme :)
The house and especially the garden are beautiful! There is a privat parking lot (for more than just one car) and if there are any questions you can always ask the owners of this lovely place. They live in the appartement above and they are really kind and helpful. We recommend the beaches Saint Croix (30 min drive, for swimming) and la Plage de la Romaniquette (5 min drive, for enjoying a nice evening).
We spend an unforgettable week at Daniel‘s house :)
Istres is quite small but you can reach really nice places like Avignon, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence or le pont du gard in about an hour of driving!
