This stunning, detached, all ground floor lodge is in the village of Gargrave and sleeps four people in two bedrooms
Squirrel Lodge is a stunning, detached, all ground floor lodge in the village of Gargrave. This lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a king-size double with an en-suite shower room and a 2'6" twin room which can be a king-size double on request. There is also a bathroom, an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area and a utility. Outside is a decked area with furniture and there is off road parking for two cars. Electric car charging is not permitted (charging point situated at Skipton Town Hall car park). Note: No stag/hen parties or similar. Please note: minimum booking at this property is for 2 nights.
Amenities: LPG central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with DVD Player ( Please note DVD's are not provided) and Freeview. Town: A pretty village on the banks of the River Aire, around 7 miles from Malham, with its spectacular limestone cove and scar. In the village you will find a selection of places to eat including a fantastic Indian restaurant, along with a small selection of pubs, cafes and shops. Traversed by the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, cycle route 68 and the Pennine Way, Gargrave is a fantastic base for exploring this part of Yorkshire. Four miles away is the ancient market town of Skipton — “The Gateway to the Dales” — with its historic castle and celebrated high street. On the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is an ideal location for walking, cycling and touring.

Had a lovely stay at squirrel lodge, it was clean and spacious.When we arrived there was a greeting party of ducks, we broke bread and shared a drink. In the morning the ducks would greet us and we would all have breakfast together.In all we had a lovely time and enjoyed a much needed holiday.

We had a lovely break it was everything we thought it would be everything was correct in the description it was ideal for my brother in law who has had a stroke as it was his first break in two years. Also the location very peaceful and excellent for visiting surrounding areas .Only negative and it was only slight one was the lack of Wi-Fi.
