This elegant detached cottage is near to Staithes in North Yorkshire and can sleep two people in one bedroom.
Field Cottage is an elegant one bedroom detached property, situated between the villages of Staithes and Lotus, near Saltburn-by-the-Sea in North Yorkshire. The stone built layout and panoramic views are a central highlight of this location. The cottage sleeps two people in one king-size bedroom. There is a shower room with a shower, basin and WC. There is an open plan living area with kitchen with breakfast bar and a sitting area. Outside there is a gravelled patio with furniture. There is ample off road parking and one well behaved pet is welcome. Field Cottage is an excellent choice for couples to embrace the scenic lifestyle.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: Staithes, with its cobbled streets and back alleys, is something of an artist’s dream. Its pretty houses and cottages are clustered around the old harbour and surrounded by high craggy cliffs on three sides, with a sheltered sandy beach set amongst the rocky coastline. Staithes is a must for anyone visiting the Yorkshire Coast and has a good selection of pubs, shops and tea rooms.

Excellent rural location, quality re-furbishment, very comfortable bed, very well equipped for two people. The peace and quiet was wonderful, and the far-reaching views over the North Yorkshire Moors were magnificent. We would just mention, however, that the description on VRBO and Sykes Cottages states that is a microwave, which there isn't, and no mention of a toaster, which there is! The owner, Fiona, was charming and welcoming, and we would definitely return to this lovely cottage.
