About this villa rental
Thank you for having a look at my villas description.
The villa is over 350 sq meters of light open space, that makes it a wonderful spacious holiday destination.
Architecturally designed to maximise the lovely sunshine in the sunny south of France
The kitchen dining sitting room is open plan,( 110 sq meters!) filled with light and superb view of pool terrace and garden with 6 large sliding door windows.
From the kitchen the villa has again double, sliding doors on to a covered large terrace with sofa, (for your early morning sipping coffee listening to the bird son) breakfast table seating 8.
All bedrooms has king size beds, I supply all linen of high quality also towels, and all rooms has built in wardrobes.
The master bedroom has a dressing room, super king size bed and direct access to your very own terrace with garden furnishings, ensuit bathroom, a/c unit.
Bedroom 2, also on the same 1st floor, private terrace overlooking pool and garden, bathroom separate toilet.
Bedroom 3-4-5 ground floor.

3 minuets drive to St Paul de Vence
only a 25 minuets to Nice (depending on season and day) and the Airport.
We love entertaining, so please be sure the kitchen is fully stocked with all that is needed
2 Coffee makers (I'm Swedish so good coffee is very important to us)
Juice maker and Nutrabullet
American fridge freezer with Ice maker.
5 Gas cooker with 2 ovens.
By pool we supply beach towels.

The house is extremely spacious and has a beautiful garden and pool area - it has a number of outside sitting areas - as well as a very large inside lounge and kitchen
It has five decent size bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows
The kitchen is well supplied for self catering
The house is about a 20 minutes walk into Vence
It’s in a very quiet area
The property manager communicated well
There were some cleanliness issues and some damp in the downstairs section

The owner was friendly, very pleasant and helpful. She welcomed us on arrival and was available throughout our stay, giving helpful suggestions on local events and places to visit.
On arrival, the standard of cleaning was not up to our expectations and we spent the first few hours cleaning. The host did admit that she had rushed the cleaning as we had arrived in the town (not at the house) early. However, it should have been much better and all areas should have been cleaned and checked before we moved in. The decor and furnishings were quite tired. The Wi-Fi worked well in the main part of the house. Air conditioning was available in the two (main) upstairs bedrooms; an air conditioning unit and a fan were available in two of the other three bedrooms. These downstairs bedrooms were damp and needed the dehumidifier (which was in one of the bedrooms) to be on all the time.
The house is very large and the grounds equally spacious and well maintained. It is great for families and entertaining. The swimming pool was regularly cleaned and well used by our family. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the beds were comfortable. It was obvious from the personal belongings in all areas of the house, including many wardrobes, that this was the owner's house. There was plenty of hot water. Only one shower was a proper, stand in shower; for two you had to hold the shower hose and the shower head on the fourth was too low for those taller than 155cm.
The property is located in a quiet, exclusive residential area, a 10 minute drive or a 20 minute walk from the centre of Vence, a 30 minute drive from the centre of Nice/airport and within an hour of Monaco. Therefore, ideal for those who wish to stay at the property or visit the local attractions.
We had a great family holiday, but unfortunately, the standard of cleaning will always mar our memories.

A beautiful property. Lots of places to sit in the garden. Good social spaces. Ideal for adult groups looking for areas to socialise and areas to be on your own.

The ambience and the location of the property is wonderful. The area around Vence is beautiful and has easy access to other historic towns in the area which are all quite special, I particularly enjoyed Valbonne. The choice of restaurants and quality of food in the area is excellent. The city of Nice has many different attractions - the flower market being a highlight of my trip. I felt I could go back and explore the area as it has so much to offer.
