Ons huisje in Manderscheid bevalt ons goed! Het is ruim genoeg om met 6 volwassenen (of in ons geval 4 volw. en 2 kinderen) te vertoeven! Het huis is schoon, leuk gesitueerd en er zijn aardig wat speeltjes voor de Kids (lees steps/skelter/tafeltennis/schommels enz.). Er is ook een konijn en een paar kippen waar je heen kunt kijken....en t konijn Leo vindt het prima om geaaid te worden. De eigenaren van het vakantiehuis zijn zeer vriendelijk en accommoderen heel graag. De ligging van het huisje is lekker centraal in de vulkaneifel.... vanuit het dorp manderscheid ben je op de meeste locaties binnen een half uur tot max een uur. Het dorpje Manderscheid zelf is ook leuk om wat te verkennen, er ligt bijv. een hele mooie burcht op een steenworp afstand....en een paar leuke restaurantjes. Al met al de moeite waard om te bezoeken en te boeken!!

Wat een fantastisch huis! Drie verdiepingen, dus heel veel ruimte. Rustige ligging met een tuin waar onze kids zich konden uitleven (trampoline, schommel, trapveldje, pingpongtafel). Enige ‘nadeel’: als je buiten wilt eten moet je met je spullen ‘slepen’ omdat de keuken op de eerste verdieping is. Maar dit is dan ook het enige ‘nadeel’. De eigenaren zijn heel aardig. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor leuke tripjes. Een echte aanrader is het Gemündener Maar. Hier kun je fantastisch zwemmen en trapfietsen huren met een glijbaan erop. Onze jongens vonden het fantastisch! Ook de leuke steden zoals Daun, Gerolstein, Cochem en Trier liggen op ongeveer een half uur rijden. De Penny (supermarkt) ligt op 2 minuten rijden, dus iedere morgen lekkere verse broodjes :-). Dit huis is ons heel erg goed bevallen en wij raden het dus ook voor 200% aan. Als we nog een keer terug gaan naar de Vulkaneifel willen we graag weer hier onze vakantie verbrengen.
