Rock Farm Slane - Limehouse

We booked the entire property for an event & the setup was just amazing. The dining & living area was really big & had plenty of seating for 20 people. Great kitchen facilities with loads of fridge space. Hosts replied quickly and dropped extra bedding to us within minutes of asking. The setting is beautiful in the countryside & the beds were very comfortable! There is a long driveway up to the building and it isn’t in walking distance to Slane but only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Slane where there’s loads of restaurants etc. We got food delivered to the house from a restaurant in Slane with no issues. Highly recommend!

Beautifully presented property in private grounds. Very idillic setting,waking up to pheasants and rabbits checking out my motorbike. 10/10. Access to a functional and supplied kitchen. Fantastic amenities throughout with a comfortable bed to boot 👍🏻👍🏻

I feel a bit embarrassed to mention anything but the shower tray trap seems to be partially blocked.

We really enjoyed our stay, the beds were comfortable, there was a very laid back feel to the house, it was warm, cozy, log fire, great facilities, and the girl who checked us in was so accommodating and friendly. We were going to Emerald park and it was a short drive away, Hot tub was a good laugh and enjoyed the peace and tranquility.

Nice environment, the farm is very calm and it is a perfect place to relax…well, I SUPPOSE, when you actually get the keys to your room and don’t have to wait 1 HOUR in front of the gate to get in :))))

What kind of customer service is it to leave a customer waiting in front of the gate for 1 HOUR? Actually, if it wasn’t for a woman (probably a cleaning lady) who let us in and gave us the gate code, we would be standing in front of the gate until this very moment!!! She was so nice that she returned to check if the NEW receptionist had left the office phone inside—and she was right. So all the messages I sent and all the calls I tried to make were sent to a phone left in the office. They claim to have a 24/7 phone number available for these occasions, but that apparently is not true. They did not send any check-in information prior to our arrival, which is unacceptable when you leave us to do a self-check-in!!! So crazy… I travel a lot around the world and this has never happened to me, not even in Uganda in a lodge in the middle of nowhere!! It was so upsetting and frustrating, especially when you drive the whole day and look forward to having a chilled evening at the farm. The whole point of staying there was gone. What’s more, we needed to go to sleep early as we had to wake up at 4 AM to go straight to the airport… It is such a shame this happened, as it could have been a really nice and calm stay. Please fire your new receptionist, who is obviously unable to take care of sending check-in information in advance with lockbox codes, which takes exactly 3 seconds :))))
