De ligging, midden in het wilde groen. Vlinders fladderen, vijgen vallen met een zachte plof uit de boom, soms zie je een ree. Het zwembad is lekker groot. Alles is ruw, niet perfect - en zo moet het vooral ook blijven. Het personeel is ontzettend behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Als we dan toch iets moeten noemen, zouden we iets met drinkglazen willen hebben en een broodmes en een vleesmes.

- Geweldige locatie (op een landgoed met kasteel)
- Fijn zwembad met uitzicht op de vallei (ca. 10 min lopen met kinderen)
- Super rustig
- Fijne buitenruimte bij het appartement
- Het appartement is groot, mooi overkapt terras om te zitten en te eten
- De host (Katia) is ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel.
- De omgeving is heel leuk en niet zo erg toeristisch (augustus), er is veel te doen
- Op woensdagen wordt er een rondleiding door het kasteel en een pizzaparty op het landgoed georganiseerd.
Het appartement viel een beetje tegen. Het appartement is authentiek, maar niet erg comfortabel en verouderd. Deuren en ramen sluiten niet allemaal even goed. De douche is praktisch onbruikbaar (er zit wel een bad in). De badkamer wordt volgens de host komende winter opgeknapt dus dat is zeker een verbetering. Het zit echt in een oude boerderij dus houdt rekening met wat spinnetjes, muggen en andere beestjes. Geen probleem allemaal, maar wij hadden last van een hornaarsnest in de schoorsteen. Nogmaals dank aan de host, die heeft direct de brandweer gebeld om het nest te laten verwijderen.

The location and the outdoor area is very nice, and the staff are very friendly.
The pool is also quite large (20-25m long), which is nice if you wish the swim some laps. It also has a great view over the Piedmont plains.
The surrounding gardens and trees make it a very peaceful place to stay and just relax.
The common room is very cosy, and has some very nice travel & walking guides related to the local area.
Organised tour of the castle, with wine tasting and apréos.
The apartment is missing some final touches to make it worth the price. eg towel racks & hooks. The wardrobe in the bedroom needs to be changed. The bed could also be updated.
The kitchen could use a few more items to help make cooking easier. eg another pot, bread knife, cooking knife, kettle
WiFi was a little difficult to connect to in the appartment, as the WiFi box is located next door in the common room.
