Amazing location and welcoming and helpful gentleman. AC is good, bed is comfy and parking the car wasn't difficult in public area costing 22 euro per day

Il Vicolo is ideally situated next to the Cattedrale di Santa Maria and just a short walk from the lake. It's a perfect location if you don't mind not having a view from your apartment window. The single room is spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities, including a kitchenette, living area, and a decently sized bathroom. As is common in many European places, it's best to avoid large suitcases since there's only a tiny luggage lift, and hauling bulky items up the narrow stairs can be challenging. I stayed at first floor, travelled with my bike, and hauling it up the stair was fine. Alessandro, the host, ensures a pleasant arrival and stay, making you feel as if you're checking into a six-star hotel. He will also recommend excellent places to visit and some of the best restaurants in Como. Highly recommended.
