Guest House Vuljan

We felt so lucky to have stayed here. We were on our way to catch the ferry in Sucuraj, which is at the southern tip of the Hvar Island ,when we had our front tire blow out, about 19 kilometers from the ferry.The car rental company sent a tow truck , but we had to be brought back to Hvar town for the night . And a replacement rental car was coming by ferry from Split the next day.There is about 3.6 kilometers of road work.The road is very rough .Tow truck driver said that there had been 10 blow outs the day before.I quickly found this guest house for us to stay. I booked 2 rooms , 2# and 3# for four of us. The hostess was so nice , she can down to meet us at the entrance to this neighbor hood. There is really no place to park, tow truck driver dropped us off. And yes there were lots of stairs, but once you do it once....you know what to expect. The rooms were spotless, everything we needed. Room 2 had a lovely sea view, and room 3 had a great terrace .And we had a wonderful dinner on the terrace with some amazing leftovers from the night before. She brought us plates ,forks and knives. Loved that they had recycling bins, kettle with coffee and tea. The location is really good, close to the bus depot . In the morning we stopped by the small farmers market and got some cherries. There are 2 bakeries as well. Picked up some goodies and had a coffee along the Riva. It was fun to see a number of local dogs who were out that morning making the rounds.It was quite lovely to be there early in the morning. One last word.. the drive to the ferry is on a very narrow road. We made it to the ferry cautiously the next day with a new rental. Higher off the ground and bigger tires. However if you have never driven on roads like that you may want to think twice. Taking the Ferry from Stari Grad back to Split and traveling down the coast highway makes more sense. Our original destination was Korcula.

Smooth communication with the host(ess). Cleanliness. Location: 5 min to the old city, 10 min to ferry berth. Stunning view of the sea, fortress and old city of Hvar from the window. Room's equipped with kettle and fridge.

One of the bedside sockets didn't work - to name at least something😎

C'est l'appartement le plus propre que j'ai jamais loué. La gérante est très réactive et aimable. L'emplacement est parfait. La vue du balcon est magnifique.
