Reason for choosing this hotel
Stayed here to visit the Vitra Design Museum and the Fondation Beyeler in Switzerland.
A day trip from farther away was not practical, so staying in this area was necessary.
Location & accessibility
The Vitra Design Museum is only a few minutes’ drive from the hotel, which was very convenient.
The Fondation Beyeler is about a 15-minute walk after breakfast — an easy and pleasant walk.
Parking & EV charging
There are two electric vehicle charging stations right next to the hotel entrance.
It was especially convenient to charge the car overnight without any issues.
Experience visiting Fondation Beyeler
Arrived at the museum around 10:00 on Sunday morning — parking spaces next to the museum still appeared available.
When leaving around 12:00, the parking garage was already full.
The Fondation Beyeler was excellent, and the two-hour visit passed very quickly.
Walking there after breakfast was refreshing and helped digestion.
Highway toll note
To save on Swiss motorway tolls, we considered walking.
However, the route from the hotel does not require using the motorway, so there is no need to purchase a Swiss motorway vignette.
In the end, we chose to walk, which was very enjoyable.
Summary:
A well-located hotel for visiting both the Vitra campus and Fondation Beyeler, with excellent EV charging convenience and easy access on foot to the museum in Switzerland.

One of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The room was excellent with beautiful views, impeccably clean & comfortable. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. Loved it.
The wifi was a bit intermittent, which was not the fault of the hotel (more an issue of location) and they were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue.
