Very clean hotel, seemed fairly new. The location is pretty far outside Guerande, on a side road alongside a dental clinic and a couple of other commercial enterprises, with poor signing, and took some finding, even with a GPS. Room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was plentiful and good.
The room had a big window which was welcome as there was a heatwave on. However, it opened the wrong way - ie, if you opened it to let in the air, it swung right across the bed, effectively barring anyone in bed behind a glass screen. It couldn't be fixed to open slightly, it was either tightly fastened or left to swing across the bed. We managed to fix up something with a length of wire, but it wasn't ideal, and you were still at risk of cracking your head on the window if you got up unwarily. This is something the designers should have considered - either hinge the window on the other side, or switch the bed round to a sideways position so that it was clear of the large heavy glass pane.
