Our stay here can only be described as an utter treat; everything from the opulence of the house; our fabulous room and the grounds. The owners treated us like special guests - we had a wonderful home cooked meal and a lovely breakfast. It really is a beautiful house full of interesting artifacts and its own historical story.

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste. Trotzdem haben sich die Besitzer rührend um uns gekümmert. Das Abendessen war im Salon im Erdgeschoss. Wieder sehr gute Betreuung durch die Besitzer. Das Essen war offenbar Convenience Food, aber durchaus nicht übel.
Uns wurde zu einem wirklich geringen Aufpreis ein wunderbares und großes Zimmer angeboten.
Der Schlosspark ist der Hammer. Leider hat es meistens geregnet.
Fällt mir jetzt nichts ein. Es ist halt nicht gerade billig, dafür aber etwas besonderes

The style and quality of everything: the furniture, decor, cutlery and condiments were such quality. The grounds were stunning and the best we have experienced for our dog
Our host saved our lives by providing us with the chance to recharge our car.
We have been travelling with our dog on European road trips since 2017. This was only the second time our dog was not welcomed. We arrived at 20:30 in pouring rain.
For some reason our host felt certain our dog would be barking through the night and if left alone in the room would scratch the beautiful doors.
He seemed not to accept our assurances that Jasper would be very well behaved and said if he did bark through the night he would need to sleep in our car.
Guess what! Jasper was perfect as always but his attitude soured our stay and made us feel very good uncomfortable.
