Rena was very friendly and cleaned our room every two days. The kitchen works well, so it was easy to make our own dinner and breakfast sometimes. The balcony was the highlight in our opinion. Nice seats and sweet cats coming by for cuddles every morning!!
The bed wasn't the most comfortable. There was a split in the mattress, so if you like to cuddle while sleeping it's slightly uncomfortable for one of you. That was the only negative for us.

Fantastic views, comfy bed, clean. Perfect location fot the beaches and monastery.
The kitchen area is very small. Luckily I didn't have to cook much. But plenty of pans etc.
Shower would be better without the shower curtain, as the area of the shower base is so small and the curtain just sticks to you whilst showering.
The host wasn't particularly welcoming, and never spoke to me in 5 nights. Communication over site was very minimal.
Lastly, there was no key for the main door. I could only lock up with the exterior shutter doors. At this time of year, it would be nice to wake up to the view and go to sleep with the view.
As a solo traveller I would always lock the door so I can sleep. I didn't enjoy feeling I was in a dark box, because of only being able to lock the shutter doors.

Lovely large room and a very generous balcony with comfortable chairs and a nice big table for eating at.
Comfortable beds and all very clean. Useful kitchen area. A treat to have a sea view. The accomodation was on the old donkey trail to Lakones. A fun walk up the hill. Great cafe (Dolce cafe) at the top and more amazing views.
Rooms were nice and quiet too.
Bathroom was a little on the small side but the shower was powerful and nice and hot.

Rena was really welcoming and kind, and so was our neighbour staying in number 4. The view was absolutely breathtaking! It was raining quite a bit during our stay, so just sitting on the porch and still being able to enjoy the view was wonderful. Everything was very clean and tidy, the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances.
There isn't any noise cancelling from other rooms, we could literally hear everything our neighbours were doing (and I'm sure vice versa). Thankfully, they were pretty quiet and went to bed at a reasonable time, but there is no guarantee that would be the case in the future. Also, someone kept accidentally connecting to our smart tv, turning it on randomly and turning the volume to the maximum, which was kind of funny but we did end up having to unplug it.
In addition, this is nothing to do with the accommodation but most things in Palaiokastritsa were still closed - if you are visiting at the start of the season, do not trust Google for opening times!
