We booked a twin room but I'm fairly sure it wasn't the one in the photos as it was a bigger than expected room with a double and a single bed. Beds comfortable. Plenty of blankets (it wasn't warm at night). Clean, room serviced daily with fresh towels. Helpful reception staff. Kettle and fridge, some free tea bags and washing up facilities.

Very close to a church which rang it's bells at 7am every morning. We could clearly hear people showering in the room next door (poor sound insulation). The shower was small.

The room itself was excellent. 2 things to consider, though. There is no wifi, except in the office, which is not close. Like Cinque Terre in general the walk to the room up the main street of Riomaggiore even with just a carry-on was strenuous for senior citizens. Office personnel did help us with our luggage once we arrived there. My advice is to take the elevator right off the train stop that will take you to a street on the same level as the office rather than going through the pedestrian tunnel and up the main street.

No criticisms of the room or service itself.

Nothing. Was a great place to stay and would recommend to anyone visiting.

The location is very central, and I received good information upon check-in. Compared to other options in Riomaggiore, the price is fair if you want a clean and basic room just for sleeping in and spend all day out. If I were to travel to Riomaggiore alone another time, I would stay here again

I was cold at night (in May), an extra blanket would have been good. There was only one small window high up, so I would hope guests are agile in case of fire. Check out was at 11, but the cleaner came into the room without knocking at 10.45 - she apologized and left. Another cleaner came into the room at excatly 11.00 while I was closing up my backpack, and she rolled her eyes and made a rude remark at me for not having left yet.
