Centrally located in historical center of Dinan- all major sites within 15 minute walk.
Hyacinthe ( at the front desk and everywhere else) was very helpful, and knowledgeable and speaks great English. He carefully quided me through the challenges of parking and had good advice about everything. A great asset to the hotel. the hotel offers a very generous breakfast which can be eaten in the beautiful garden or interior dining space. Lounge is very nicely furnished.

Very good breakfast. The location is amazing, right by the fortified castle walls, with easy access to the old town, Dinan port, and restaurants.
Having breakfast in the back garden was a huge plus, with exceptional views overlooking the other side beyond the fortified walls.
Luis was very welcoming during check-in.
Highly recommended.
The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, as the room became very hot, and the carpet floors didn’t help. Although we liked the vintage style of the room, it felt a little dated compared to the overall décor and atmosphere of the hotel.
Highly recommended overall.

Hotel Le D’Avaugour has an amazing garden, where it is possible to take breakfast. The large garden extends back directly onto the city walls, with great evening sunshine and lots of little areas to sit. The location of the hotel is also great, facing the large square where the weekly market takes place and just 3 minutes walk from the castle. Lovely friendly staff too.
