Clean, comfortable, friendly, quiet. Access to (limited) kitchen and inexpensive laundry on premises. 24 hour reception. Many groceries and restaurants in the neighborhood. Easy walk to the city center and the docks. Nostalgic to be staying in a student residence (the students were super polite as well.)
Not complaining, but just so people considering it have the info, the neighborhood is scruffy, with trash and broken glass on the streets. Again, not complaining, but the kitchen apparently used to have pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and now it is bring your own.

In the middle of May 2026 I stayed 4 nights at the Albert Court and I really enjoyed my stay as it has its own quiet atmosphere at a central location. Staff was always friendly and helpful and the basic room offered everything I needed.
There was even a more or less fully equipped kitchen available, which was shared between 5 rooms. WiFi was always fast and reliable.
Liverpool Lime Street Station is an approximately 15 minutes walk away.
For the price it was exactly what I expected.
