The location is great there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The underground parking was also nice to have. It's worth knowing the big pool was empty and blocked off during our stay. It wasn't a problem for us, because it was too cold for us to swim, but something to let others know.
We told the host ahead of time when we would be arriving, and were expecting to be greeted per the booking information. When we arrived, we could not enter the building. There was no one at the front, and the host did not answer my calls. Eventually she text letting me know in 5 minutes she would send instructions. We stood outside with our bags, and our 2 kids. Once the texts starting coming through we figured out how to gain access to the lobby. For another 20 minutes we stood around trying to figure out what was going on because the video explaining how to get to the apartment didn't come. We honestly thought it was a scam. Someone in the building tried to help us, and he too was confused. The entire process took almost 40 minutes and was so disorganized. In that time, I think I called the host 3 separate times each with no answer. The window in the dining area was broken. Despite closing the window, and putting the handle in the lock position, the window would easily slide open. The unit is on the ground floor, so this caused some safety concerns. I let the host know, and got a reply within an hour. Thankfully the apartment had roller shutters so we could leave the apartment with some peace. A few things around the apartment could use repair- the butcher block in the kitchen had mold on the bottom, the railing by the stairs was wobbly, the kitchen sink faucet was loose, and the upstairs bathroom could use some better cleaning around the window and the glass wall of the shower. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable- we woke up sore each day. There was a wet towel hanging on the kitchen sink, and a wet towel in the stand alone shower upon arrival. Zero instructions how to use the washer/dryer. There was also no information on where to put the keys when leaving. I text the host hours before check-out asking where to put the keys, and did not receive a reply until 5 minutes before latest check-out time.
