Close location to the train station and the city centre for shops,bars,restaurants,the Barbican and Hoe(seafront)
The street was very quiet of an evening,night and early morning which was nice.
I have feet a knee issues,and unfortunately my room was up 3 flights of stairs and because of the age of the property no lift.
It was a minor inconvenience.

The room was compact but comfortable and clean . The owner was helpful and friendly. Location is very good for the city centre and University.
The room was at the very top, so a bit if a climb but easier coming down.

Very noisy shower in the en-suite, decoration of the room is a little tired and could do with a deep clean. Breakfast was cooked to order, simple and value for money. Host was really nice and pleasant. Dining room was clean, tidy and well spaced out. Car parking available at the rear of the property which was a bonus.
Noisy shower, could have done with a fan in the room as open window meant street noise which disturbed sleep.
