I travel to Ullapool quite frequently.
But, this first time I have stayed here.
Room 14 has lovely views down Lock Broom.
Comfy bed, ample room, huge bathroom. Hot tap, and shower needs to be run, as sign in room said.mits furthest from the water tank. Not an issue. Just turn the shower and finish your tea or coffee.
Had a meal on first night, burger, which I couldn’t fault.
Live music from local artists, was a standout.
Oh the temperature can be adjusted in the room.
Narrow stairs to 2nd floor.
When I return here, I will ask for this room.

I accidentally booked this room a month, too early.
So did not travel, I re booked for next month. I am a frequent visitor to Ullapool decided to try the Argyll for one.
I did ask for a refund, due to my silly mistake, and mentioned that it was for March, and not February. I thought as gesture of good will, they might refund part of my spend. But was declined. I have spent a lot of money over the years at this establishment.
So, it’s basically taking the shine of my March trip. Will just have to be more careful when booking next time.
