I was really impressed. It was very difficult to find an affordable room in St Peter Ording, so I honestly did not have high expectations for the hotel/hostel as it was considerably cheaper compared to alternatives. We booked a room for 4 and were lucky to be given a larger room, so it was extremely spacious and comfortable. There is also a "wet" area as you enter the room, so even in nasty weather, we were able to keep the room relatively clean, dry and free of sand. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen appeared well equipped and everything was kept very clean. The hotel is located just a short walk to the beach, so we mostly left the car in the parking lot and went there by foot.
As others have mentioned, the parking lot is very tight. Not a problem as there is street parking, although it is officially capped at 2 hours, but didn't seem to be a problem when left overnight and moved early in the morning.
