Location was very good.
Fan in bathroom to noisy and shouldn’t be connected to the light switch. Should have 2 chairs in room if accomodating 2 people.

Queenstown is beautiful but unfortunately Silver Hills Motel looks it age from the oil heater to the shower curtain. Our room had a mouldy musty smell about it which I’m guessing came from the wardrobe which had mould in it. Spare blanket smelt like mould only one side of electric blanket worked. Restaurant was passable but breakfast was just a disaster the $25 breakfast deal they have they could barely make as they had run out of bread. What place runs out of bread at 8.15 when breakfast starts at 7 or 7.30 and not booked out either. No coffee was offered the one staff member was chef, waitress, cleaner etc. A beautiful location not operated to its full potential
Lack of enthusiasm from the staff due to being overworked/overwhelmed. Didn’t really want us having breakfast onsite and suggested cafe’s in town to go to..
