Hôtel Les 2 Alpes L'Orée Des Pistes

I had a really great stay there. The hotel was spotless! Both the rooms and common areas are very clean, modern, and well maintained. The bed is very comfortable, and it’s also really quiet, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a full day on the slopes. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Rafik in particular went above and beyond. I wanted to check if the hotel restaurant had any vegetarian options for dining, and he not only explained and translated everything on the menu, but also researched nearby vegan and vegetarian restaurants and printed out recommendations for me. That level of care really stood out. The breakfast was also great, with a good variety of bread, pastries, and fruits. I loved the days we had the French mini crepes and pancakes! Because I'm lactose intolerant, I really appreciated that they offer soy yogurt, and soy and almond milk, so I could have cereal too. Dinner has good vegetarian options too, with plenty of vegetables, salads, and cheese (though more plant-based protein options like beans, lentils or tofu would make it even better). The location is super convenient, right in front of Jandri, the main ski station, which makes everything very easy. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend it.

The only small downsides were: - I didn't expect the internet to be good in the Alps, but the internet didn't work at all for me. I had to get an eSIM to have internet over there. That said, If you want to stream movies or tv shows, I'd recommend you to download some of them at home to bring with you because eSIMs have limited gigas per day in France (even when it advertise as unlimited). By the way, the hotel TV had just 2 channels working in my room, so don't count with that. - The blackout curtains don't make the room as dark as I needed to sleep well, and I had to use a sleeping mask. I mean, I need a very dark room so this won't be a problem for most people, especially if they want to go early to the slopes.
