Friendly staff, large room and flexible

The hotel had a really relaxed vibe and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, not Farr from shops or viewpoints to watch the sunset or sunrise and the balloons. You can literally walk out of your room on a morning and see the balloons overhead. Amazing. The bed in our room was very very comfortable and we got upgraded to a cave room from a cabin room. Zelma’s hummus at breakfast deserves a special mention of its own. The best we have tasted, not too garlicky and full of flavour.
The pool was freezing even in 30 degree sun you still couldn’t swim in it. It never heated up and was like ice. It could also have done with a clean . The WiFi was sketchy at times and the hot water for a shower was temperamental. The cleaning of the room could have been better. It was literally change of sheets and towels and bin emptied. No
Hoovering or washing anything down. There wasn’t much room for storage either. But we had a spare bed so everything went on there. Breakfast choice for vegetarians could have been better or to serve some fruit would have been ideal.

It's was a very beautiful setting, the breakfast was delicious and there was a bit of difference each morning. The location is perfect. We could walk to Rose Valley (30mins) and sunset/sunrise point view (10mins).
The family who run it are very attentive and helpful. There was a fridge and kettle. Bathroom, shower was great. I would come back again!!!! Thank you so much for our stay.
The bathroom has a slight smell but you get used to it and it airs out. It is a cave stay so didn't bother me really.

The hotel is owned by a family who operate it. They are very friendly, show a high level of hospitality, and care about their guests.
The breakfast is tasty and generous.
the hotel lacks convenient furniture e.g. closet, table or stands for bags, hangers for towels in the bathroom, etc.
The hotel facilities have an enormous potential to provide a unique experience, however, it requires maintenance and a bit of investment in small furniture pieces and attention to detail.
