The only down side for my western perspective was the size of the bathroom but I adjusted.

Basic accommodation but you get what you pay for. In that sense, it's great value for money. Host is very helpful too.
A bit out of the way from the main part of town perhaps. Can also be very noisy.

-The location is superb, right in the center and close to everything. -The owner was nice, and helpful whenever I needed something. -Good view from the window -Great value for money -Room was clean
-The bed wasn't very comfy and it was very squeaky. -The walls were so thin and I could hear everything from other rooms/on the street. -Having to ring the intercom everytime was a pain. -The shower took about 10 minutes to warm up which wasn't ideal
